I belong to a group of amazing mothers on Facebook.  It’s a place to seek and give advice, friendship and support.  One thing that I’ve learned in the last 2 years of being a member is that when someone needs something, the group rallies around them and goes out of their way to help.  Truly amazing things can happen when 1000 women from across the country come together. 

Jake Krebeck was born at 28 weeks on March 7, 2013 with a rare genetic condition called Trisomy 12.  He earned his angel wings early the next morning.  We welcomed his mom, Jen, into our group and we fell in love with her and precious baby Jake.  As his angelversary approached, we wanted to do something special to remember him and celebrate his life, along with other angel babies who touched the lives of our group members.

On Saturday, March 8, 2014, families across the country gathered to celebrate this special little boy who’s heart only beat for a short time, but who’s memory lives on in the hearts of so many.  We released balloons and lanterns in memory of Jake and angel babies everywhere.  If you have lost a child, please know that our thoughts were with you that day and every day.  #jakesday
