This is my favorite thermal for little kids and the one that my 6.5 year old used every day in Kindergarten and is currently using at summer camp. She’s one of those kids that just wants PBJ every.single.day. There are two great solutions that work perfectly with this lunch box. The first is the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Flat Set. We put the sandwich and fruit in the larger container and every once in a while I surprise her with a small treat in the smallest container. We use the medium container for her afternoon snack in a separate snack pouch. In its place is an Honest Juice Box or Horizon Milk. The second solution is the Yumbox Panino Bento Box, which fits inside the Lunch Buddy with a bit of room to spare. There’s also plenty of room for napkins and a reusable fork. Note that the Lunch Buddy comes with a side pocket for a water bottle, the 12 oz. Thermos Funtainer fits perfectly. However, I prefer to keep Hallie’s bottle in her backpack.

In my very first Thirty-One order 6 years ago, I purchased this lunch bag and it’s still in perfect condition. Back then, I took the commuter rail into Boston for work and this was my go-to lunch thermal because I loved the longer straps. It was so nice to be able to wear it on my shoulder.
